In the search box:

1. Choose the mode as Train
   
2. type in two characters (BA, HO) of the place names in From and To fields and wait for the place pop-up to appear. Then select the place (BANGALORE, HOJAI - HJI(S) )
3. Choose the appropriate class (SL/2S - sleeper; 3AC, 2AC etc.)
4. Press the search button to search
   

On the result page:

1. Wait till all the availability information is got
2. Select the best route: Sort by Fare, duration etc.
3. Only the available routes are shown. Unavailable are removed
4. If there is no availability for the class you have selected, we try to get the availability for the other class in the order SL,2S,3A,CC,2A,FC,1A

NOTE: You can get back the unavailable routes by clicking on "Show unavailable routes" check box on the left of the Results page

1. You can see how you travel in the Indian Map.
2. Click on view map in the results page.
3. This will open a new window where the route is displayed in the Indian Map.
4. In the map we show the route using lines. Each leg of travel is shown in different color. At each place (origin and the change-over points), we display the details.
5. Take the mouse pointer over the route stations to find their names.
